Make GlobalMenu always visible

Hi all.

This is more a feature request, than a question. It would be great to have an option to set the GlobalMenu to always show the application menues instead of needing to hover the title.

e.g. if firefox is open, it should show the shortened window title, followed by File ... menues. Hover should then completely be disabled.

This has been discussed on the ML, already and I also feel that we should offer at least an option to define the behavior.

When I need a menu without hovering with the mouse, I just press <Alt>.

Pressing Alt is an option, but not what I meant. I am just looking for an option, to always show (shorten) application name + the menues (like on Apple, e.g.)

@Everyone, this issue is being currently addressed by the Unity developers. A solution will be available for Ubuntu 12.10. You can follow the progress of the solution at https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/682788. Please mark this question solved.
