shutdown -F Option

Asked by thebomani

My shutdown command is missing the -F option which is used to force a file system check when the system boots next. I am using Fedora 9 on a i686 with a 32 but CPU. Is there any way to get the -F option back?

Upstart does not support the -F option, though you can usually replicate the behaviour by touching /forcefsck before you reboot.

Can you help with this problem?
