i cant recover my 30GB assigned to Ubuntu using WUbi

hello i was trying ubuntu via wubi ,i decided to install it as another windows application, (i assigned it 30GB of my disc, ihave only one partition for windows seven) so it was all fine, but it crashed with compiz fussion so i dcided to uninstall it..

when i got to add remove programs i wasnt abble to succesfully uninstall ubuntu, so i used the uninstall.exe, now i uninstall it succesfully but now i just can recover my 30GB of my disc

plz help....

With Wubi, it basically installs Ubuntu into a file on your hard disk. I believe it goes into C:\ubuntu\root.disk, by default (or in a similar location in another hard disk, if that's what you selected).

If you are missing 30 gigabytes of space, then try removing the C:\ubuntu folder. If that folder doesn't exist, then either you're NOT missing 30 gigabytes, or your filesystem is damaged and you should run Chkdisk.exe (or whatever your favourite disk checking tool is).
