is this file relevent after you've finished installing kubuntu 11.04 through wubi?

Asked by Gary Ferrao

there is a file named ".fuse_hidden0000000400000001" (ya, no name it only has an extension (weird))
after i've installed kubuntu 11.04 through wubi. is it of any use?

it occupies 713 MB of space, so i'm wondering if it's ok to clean it up?

the file resides in "C:\ubuntu\install" in the hard disk.

That is the downloaded desktop CD ISO that wubi used to install (or if you installed from CD it's a copy of the ISO from the CD). So, no it's not required. Most people aren't aware that it is there. Unless you want to use it to create a CD or move it somewhere else for a reinstall, you can delete it.
