Can't load Ubuntu

Asked by Luke Sloam

Hello , I would like some help.

I have a Windows XP Home SP1 ( HP PAVILION a302x )

I click windows installer and it downloads then at the end it asks me if i would like to reboot. I select yes reboot now , and it does but one problem.

It doesn't bring up the screen to select Ubuntu!!

It just goes strait to the Windows XP Loading screen.

I would like to try Ubuntu so if anyone could help I'd be grateful. Thank you.

I suggest you use add/remove programs and remove the Wubi install. Then reboot, mount the MD5 tested Ubuntu ISO with magicdisk or Daemontools and install using that

Right click My Computer, Properties, Advanced tab, Startup & Recovery settings. Make sure the 'time to display operating systems" is set at 10
