Wubi is set to automatically boot into Ubuntu the first time only. It's also set to not include windows entries in the bootloader (because Wubi boots via windows, so there's no point in booting windows from grub). If you are going straight into Wubi there are a few possibilities:
1. You set Ubuntu as the default OS to boot within Windows (this doesn't sound likely)
2. Some unknown reason why Windows is booting straight to Wubi.

First please download and run the bootinfoscript: http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/ and post the results to http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/ and then come back here with the pastebin address.

If you have a windows repair CD you can boot to a Windows repair prompt and check the output of "bcdedit" - see what the default is and the timeout and make adjustments. Refer to Microsoft website on instructions for their command line tool bcdedit.

But for us to help you it's best if you start with the bootinfoscript.

Can you help with this problem?
