WUBI error

Asked by Nicholas Perks

I am trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 alongside windows 7 using the WUBI installer, but am getting an error from something called pyrun.exe every time I try to run WUBI. The error is telling me there is no disk in my drive and it wants me to insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 which I don't understand. If i press cancel it cycles through DR1, DR2, DR3, and DR4 and does nothing else.

I do hope somebody can help me.

Cheers

I suggest you download the Ubuntu desktop ISO, MD5 test it and mount it with magicdisk and install from there.
