Please explain how you are installing. Please post your wubi logfile to http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/ and then post the pastebin address back here.

You can find the wubi log file in the %TEMP% directory with the name wubi-11.10-rev24x.log (x is 1 or 5)

Thanks

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. There's a wubi bug: the undefined attribute. But there might be something else wrong. I've have to look at the code to figure it out.

This is what I suggest to install using Wubi:
1. Download wubi.exe from http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/windows-installer and save it in the same directory as the Ubuntu Desktop CD ISO (the same one you created your CD from).
2. Remove the Ubuntu CD from the tray
3. Run wubi.exe

That will install a dual boot using a 'virtual disk' that can be easily uninstalled later from Windows (but Ubuntu runs separate). If you want a real dual boot (with separate partitions), then you need to boot from the Ubuntu CD.

Can you help with this problem?
