Xibo on Windows 7 embedded?

Hi,

I'm buyng a new samsung monitor and a pc embedded to use with the monitor.

The embedded PC is a SAMSUNG SIM-NT-B P with Windows Embedded Standard.

Can Xibo works on this?

It may work. We only officially support the standard desktop versions of
Windows 7 - so you would be best to go with that.

What I found is the embedded player in the display are good for showing pictures only. rss feed and hd video was a no go. Plus the Hard Drives are flash drives with a limited storage capacity.

As I have tested in my entreprise,
You better have to reinstall your PC to Win7
But this type of PC is better to use with streaming content.
HD rendering will lag and like says Mike, the storage is quite short (32GB) and in the same way RAM is quite low too.
In our entreprise, we have chosen to use ultra small desktop PCs fixed on VESA backplane. It's more efficient and cheaper.
