duration of video on iframe

Hi, I need to play a video on iframe (similar to youtube handling) until the end so I am not able to set a duration. How can I handle this type of situation?

You would have to set a fixed duration. There's no mechanism for the client
to know that a video stream from outside the Xibo system is finished

But is it possible to set duration field as a wildcard from the embedded page? For example I can invoke a page on mys server calculating the duration and set it on timeline.

No. You can only set a fixed duration

If I upload directly the video on my library, will I have the same problem?

No. If you upload a video to the library you can set the duration to 0
seconds and the client will detect the end of the file when playing back.
It will also be able to play the file if the network connection fails since
it'll be cached on the client
